Amazon Pivot Plan
Launched in 2017, Amazon put into place the Amazon Pivot Plan. The Pivot Plan generally offers Amazon employees the options to quit and accept a severance package, or attempt to reach performance goals set by a manager over a set period of time. Generally, those on Pivot Plans cannot transfer teams or departments.
